Mario Tagliazucchi

Bio

Soy licenciado en Química de la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales de la UBA (2004). Entre el 2004 y el 2009 realicé mi doctorado en Química bajo la dirección del Dr. Ernesto Calvo en el tema de autoensamblado capa-por-capa de polímeros redox. Una vez doctorado, viaje a Chicago, EEUU, donde hice una estadia posdoctoral en la Universidad de Northwestern, trabajando con los Profesores Emily Weiss y Igal Szleifer en el Non-Equilibrium Research Center (NERC). En esta etapa realice investigación teórica y experimental en problemas de autoensamblado (en equilibrio y fuera de él) y transporte en la nanoescala. A partir del 2015 me incorporé al DQIAQF-INQUIMAE, donde soy Profesor Adjunto e Investigador Independiente del CONICET. Fui becario Fulbright y Alexander von Humboldt. Mis temas actuales de trabajo están relacionados con el autoensamblado de materiales blandos (polímeros, coloides, surfactantes) y las aplicaciones de los materiales supramoleculares resultantes en aplicaciones de energía. Estudio estos problemas mediante una combinación de métodos de modelado teórico basados en termodinámica estadística y técnicas experimentales, colaborando para ello con otros investigadores de nuestro grupo, de otras instituciones en la Argentina y del exterior.  

Sus lineas de trabajo incluyen el modelado de peptido anfifilos, supercristales de nanoparticulas y electrolitos poliméricos para baterias, y el desarrollo de polielectrolitos redox para baterias de flujo
